annie & ryan: Wedding Bells Are Most Definitely Ringing...

So as many of you I'm sure have noticed...wedding season is most definitely upon us!! So I thought I'd spare you from the facebook overload of photos and I figured I could use my wedding pictures as an excuse to kick off my blog again!! There are a million photos on here so don't think I'm self-involved it's just for those who are interested! There are some of Ryan and I and many of everyone who was able to share the day with us! So please enjoy!!!

Also...I went through some of the elements of my wedding in case anyone is interested in that side of things :) Let me know what you think :)

This was designed by my amazing sister Kim (If you’re interested in getting something like this designed feel free to contact her at Kimhirt@gmail.com) Kim really planned the WHOLE thing with me. I don’t think there was a day during my engagement that I didn’t call. She is a wedding genius. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I loved this time too, because my sister Kim and I have never been able to live close to each other because we’re a decade apart and she lives in the south, but we’ve always had this special bond. Our love for teeny bopper stars and bad acting. Weddings, crafts, graphic design, and everything girly. She’s actually the one who told me what I should go into for school when I was little and now here I am, doing and becoming exactly what she thought I’d be good at!

Andy pants is my cousin on the other side. I made her take these and she was so sweet and willing. Andrea is just a few years younger than me, but I seriously feel like we’re the same age. She’s possibly the FUNNEST human in the world to be around and she always makes you feel like you’re hot. She ran all up and down and all around taking pictures for us and I’m SO glad. Vests: H&M, Little boys vests: my mom made them…aren’t they the cutest? My mom spent hours on hours on the little boys vest...I honestly can't believe the things that woman does for me. If any of you have even been within ten feet of my mom, you know she's heaven on earth. Not only is she the hottest, she sacrifices her entire existence for the sake of everyone's happiness. She is literally sent straight from heaven. She goes beyond every expectation in every aspect of life. AHH words are not even close to enough to articulate how much I love her. I feel like a pansy even trying. But seeing her bent over those vests working away just because she loves me...I can't handle it. She is the creator of everything perfect and I can never ever thank her to the extent that I wish I could. Just know that I love my mom more than anything you can imagine. (I'm obviously losing it while I write this, which is why I have to wrap it up) Mom. You. Are. Beyond. Incredible. I love you more than words can express.

Dad

Real quick before I continue on, I need to talk about my Dad for a second. He is the reason any of this could happen and I just have to say how grateful I am before I can talk about anything else. Now my Dad is a man's man, so wedding stuff...I could see how you'd assume he'd not understand it. But, I have never seen someone bend so far over backwards to make everything work perfect. All growing up my Dad has found ways to make dreams come true that sometimes we didn't even know we had. And he never ceases to amaze me with how willing he is to sacrifice anything to make me happy. I love him so deeply to the bottom of my heart (once again crying that a baby) and there is never an adequate way to express my gratitude for everything he's done for me throughout my life. But, I hope that he knows how perfect he made this day for me and how beautiful he has made my life. I love you daddy. Thank you So SO so much. There aren't words big enough to express how much I love you and how grateful i am for you.

My dress:

This was designed by the amazing Jessica May. (see her stuff here http://jessicamaybridal.wordpress.com/) My sisters Katherine and Holly helped my design it. They were there at almost every fitting dealing with my obsessing over every little detail. I was living with Holly and she did so much more than just help me with my dress. She helped me with wedding invitation assembling for months and random crafts on the daily. Plus, she put up with all my messes in the house :) she was the busiest person in the world, but she STILL sacrificed so much time and effort to help me. So grateful for her existence. Katherine also did way more than just help with my dress. She soothed my soul. I was really busy during my engagement…I had a job, internship, full load at school, and then throw a wedding on top…a little crazy. But Katherine would show up…every time I think she was inspired. She’d visit me at work on days where I’d be feeling crazy. Just being with her made me feel peace. She’d run errands for me. She’d take me to lunch. She’d volunteer anytime she could tell I was feeling crazy. She was my little piece of my mom I got to have with me during the planning stages.

This was my original design I wanted for my wedding ring…some of you may have seen a different one when I first got engaged, the jeweler went a little crazy and Ryan really wanted to propose to me on Christmas so we rolled with it and then got it fixed :)

Claire. The only person in this entire world that I trust completely with my hair. She put in these amazing twists and she did it in two seconds. She is INCREDIBLE. She’s leaving me (so depressed) and she’s moving out east to DC and if you need a hair person—I’m not kidding she is incredible. She’s a perfectionist so your hair will look dang right perfect. Plus, she's the most perfect mom and cousin in the whole world. I seriously aspire to be exactly who she is one day :)

Maddi Henneman. She did my lashes as a gift to me for my wedding and I don’t think I’ve EVER felt so pretty. She does mine now too. If you want her info, let me know because she’s seriously amazing. She does extensions and hair as well. She’s my new hair girl :) On top of that she is one of my longest/bestest friends. She makes every day sunshine. I feel like she lives in the magical world that none of us are magical enough to enter, but because it's so deeply apart of her soul just being around her you get to experience it. She makes everything an adventure. I love you to death Maddibaby.

Hair Crowns:

Maddi and Sammy Stahura. These girls spend HOURS on these. I’m pretty sure their hands were bleeding by the end. I love them so much and could not have been more grateful for have them there with me through the whole process. They were the first ones to come into town and the second they did, everything felt in place. Love my ladies. I talked about Maddi, and Sam is right there with her. We've been friends for years and connect on a level that I don't think either of us fully comprehend. We have a way of understanding and an unconditional bonding love between us that I know will keep us together forever. She has saved me time and time again. I'm so grateful for who she is.

My sister Reagan worked everyday of her vacation to make this beauty and I SERIOUSLY think it’s the most perfect cake I’ve ever seen. It’s exactly what I wanted. Exactly. I could not be more grateful for her. She’d go nights not sleeping cause of her sweet baby Duke, and would still be up working on my cake bright and early. She’s amazing. She also got to join me and Ryan on our last day of our honeymoon and it was the FUNNEST DAY EVER. Someday we will live in the same town and it will be magic candycane land everyday. Holly Beifuss. I. Can’t. Handle. Her. If you guys even understood how much this woman has done for me in my lifetime… She’s my second mom. She throw my Utah open house (which was the most magical event I have ever been to and she wasn’t going to make it out to my actual reception, but seriously sent from heaven she shows up and helps set up all day. She made everything come together. We all call her Disneyland and Christmas combined because she has the most magical touch I’ve ever seen. COULD NOT BE MORE GRATEFUL. Plus two of her daughters were my bridesmaids...Rachel and Ali. Holly blessed me BIG time when she gave birth to those two. Rachel has been my best friend for a million years...we've been through everything together. Always my partner in crime. I like can't even begin to describe her part in my life, words don't really seem adequate, so to SERIOUSLY simplify it...she is the best friend you all would dream about. Plus, Ali baby is my GIRL! We work together now and workout together so we see each other a good ten hours of the day...and we still aren't sick of each other! She is the most giving and charitable human I have ever met. We were interviewing people the other day and she could not for the life of her narrow it now...she wanted to find them all a job! She is incredible, hilarious, and totally amazing. The Beifuss family...I can't even begin to describe the impact they've made on my life. Rach and Ali helped Holls and also helped Rachelle with flowers!

Shellyne Wood. This girls was there through all my craziness in the earliest of planning stages. Ran all my errands. Helped with all my crafts. Dealt with all my psychoness and not only did she let me use and abuse them, she begged me too! Every second she was asking for new ways to help and I know for a fact, I would have gone crazy without her…But for real. She also was Holly’s side kick in the set up phase so everything was a little bit of her.

My sister Darci’s creation… My wedding was a week before her finals and she was front and center through EVERYTHING. I never once saw her sit down. she’s heaven sent. My soul sister. Almost every time I lost it during this process, Darci was the one to hear it. She frees my soul. Everytime she’s around I know I’m safe. She let me be bridezilla. She took over my brain when it was too much. She is completely devoted to my happiness and has never ever let me think otherwise. We are so much alike and get each other on such an intense level, I swear she can literally feel my insides. I’m so grateful to have her as my soul sister, I’d be lost without her.

My sister Cubbie’s magnificent creation. Everything she touches transforms into something far beyond my wildest dreams. When I asked her to do this, she INSTANTLY knew exactly what she was going to do. I can’t adequately write the magnificence of who she is, but I could not have been more blessed to have her as my sister. Her brain is capable of more than I can fathom. She sacrifices everything for others happiness and she, time and time again has dropped everything to take care of me. She’d pick me up any time of night. She nurtures me when I’m healing. She would do anything for me. And I hope she knows I’d do the same for her.

This is the work of Holly and Melody and Betty and my Mama. These women are insane. They create the most beautiful masterpieces and put so much of their heart into it. I could literally feel their love illuminate from every element of this day. I love them so much. They helped raised me through my wild days in young womens and their patience and unconditional love has contributed to so much of the person I am today. Thank you So much.—I’m obviously crying now... Also I have to mention the craziness my mom had to go through to get all of the milk bottles sorted out. She went through torture. I can't believe how much she's done for me.

This little lady was by.my.side. through EVERYTHING. I've never met a more loyal friend than Rachel. No matter how crazy I got, she wanted to help with everything. She came to my dress fittings, was the first one to help at my open house, stayed up for hours working on flowers...just the tip of the iceberg. But, no just that, there was always something special about the way she helped me. It just felt so pure...like there was nothing better for her than to see my happy. I just felt this true loving support and pure happiness illuminate from her every time she'd rescue me from my craziness. It was like my happiness was hers. I don't know how to accurately describe it. All I know is, she a one of the truest friends I have and I am so grateful Heavenly Father put her in my life.

I have to give a tribute to my brothers. They were the muscle behind the whole thing. I couldn’t even believe how many times my brothers asked what they could do. Normally dudes are like…wedding…I’m out. My brothers were there EVERY SECOND. Moving this and that and putting things up, running errands. They are seriously the most quality group of dudes. I know for a fact we’re the most blessed family in the world. They are AMAZING.
