Living Lavender Farms...

So we decided to take a trip to the Young Living Lavender Farms a few days ago and it was definitely the right decision. We got there thinking there would just be fields of lavender and maybe people selling some lavender products, but boy were we wrong. We walk inside the carnival and all the sudden we are surrounded by the strangest combination of things! On one side there’s a bunch of blow up slides and all that jazz. On another side there were a bunch of booths with people selling all sorts of things. On the other, everything, and I mean everything, was Medieval! There was jousting, prancing horses, wells, horse-drawn carriages, farm animals… best surprise ever! We toured around the whole farm in a horse drawn carriage, watched some jousting, tried some lavender ice cream that tasted slightly like soap but was still good somehow, took a ride in some paddle boats and finished off with some classy field frolicking in the insanely pretty lavender fields. Needless to say the trip was a success on every level. Next year my friends…the Lavender Festival is a must.
